The health resort of Bad Ischl is located at the heart of the Salzkammergut area, surrounded by the rivers Traun and Ischl. Already in the 19th century, the emperor appreciated the unique location and the beautiful nature and spent a lot of time at his summer residence in this charming village. This is why Bad Ischl is also called the Emperor’s city - ”Kaiserstaft” .
