Kunstmue Festival 2019 in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt

The Kunstmue Festival is a unique rock /alternative music festival in Bad Goisern with free entrance and free camping in this summer. The lineup is focused on newcomer bands from the Salzkammergut area and Austria as a whole. Combined with the stars of the Austrian alternative music scene such as Alkbottle, Attwenger, Bilderbuch, Krautschädl, Kontrust etc., young bands have the chance to perform on a big stage and get tips from established musicians. It is especially important in smaller countries like Austria for young musicians to have a chance to perform at festivals such as these. The organizers are convinced that their entrance free festival concept is the way forward: "The concept is great, many times we see young bands perform at the Kunstmue Festival, you can feel and hear the great potential they have, and a few years later you can see them on the big stage. Our guests love the concept too, they are very excited to see the future of the Austrian alternative music scene and it’s awesome for them to see those bands without having to pay an entrance fee". Success stories such as Bilderbuch, Ja Panik and also Krautschädl were all signed on spot at the Kunstmue Festival by big major record labels.
