This summer, the popular hiking guide Barbara Bichler makes it possible in Obertraun. The Dachstein Krippenstein cable car takes you to the approximately 2000 metre high Dachstein plateau. Once at the top, the high alpine hike leads you over hill and dale, past colourful, fragrant mountain flowers through the imposing karst landscape to a small mountain lake.
In peace lies strength
On the approximately three-hour, child-friendly hike there is plenty of time for big and small moments of discovery and always a little rest and leisure. Simply lie in the grass and relax. Blade of grass between your teeth and just switch off. Just lovely! This hike is a real highlight for children on a family holiday in the Salzkammergut. Note: Please note that there are no rest stops on this tour. Therefore, the hiking backpack should be filled with enough drinks and snacks.
