The Salzkammergut proclaimed the Austrian National Day as a general lucky day. Therefore on 26th October there will be a hike for our guests and locals in the World Heritage region of Hallstatt / Dachstein Salzkammergut, to Hallstatt’s Glücksplatz (lucky place) in the Hallstatt Echerntal.

We will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the car park 2 (P2) in Hallstatt Lahn. From there, we walk along the Waldbach brook into the Echerntal to the Waldbachstrub waterfall and back. The boat of the Hallstättersee-Schifffahrt will already be waiting for us back at the starting point, to take us from Hallstatt Lahn to Hallstatt Markt. Get spoilt by the musical and traditional delicacies. Theautumnal cozy atmosphere will invite you to linger.

On arrival in the picturesque village centre we will to stop for a bite to eat at the Gasthof Simony.
