The Loser is buzzing –
a mountain day blending movement and music
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, the Loser mountain transforms into an alpine stage for sports, music, and social connection. Centered around the themes of "beats" and "movement," the mountain itself becomes the event venue from 09:00 to 19:00 : spanning the area from Augstsee and Loseralm to the Loserhütte, Stellenkogelhütte, and the summit, the schedule features guided tours, body workouts, and climbing experiences alongside a continuous live music program—ranging from traditional brass music to an evening finale with a DJ.
The musical heart of the day is a non-stop live program that brings music to the mountain from hut to hut. Traditional groups Hopfenblütenteemusi and Salettlmusi kick off the festivities, followed by Wüdaramusi, who provide the first major highlight at midday at the Loseralm. In the afternoon, Her & the Moon perform at the Loserhütte, before DJ Gerry brings the day to a close at the AlpenTenn starting at 18:30 —taking the atmosphere from the morning's traditional *Frühschoppen* gathering right through to the sunset over the Ausseerland region.
