Konradfest - Finale
From 1988 to 2005, the KONRADFEST, which took place every year at the beginning of August and was initiated by the painter Lydia Roppolt, was a highly regarded center of new sacred music. Important composers created new works especially for St. Konrad. In 2021 the Konradfest was revived as part of the Kirchklang Festival.
To close the Konrad Festival, the young Upper Austrian violinist Nina Pohn plays works by Christian Pezold and Johann Sebastian Bach in the new award-winning wooden chapel in Straß.
