Amazement at lofty heights
The special thing about the magic of lights on the Grünberg is that the "Treetop Walk Salzkammergut" is transformed into a fairytale landscape, illuminated by hundreds of thousands of lights and supplemented by 3D animal figures. In addition, there will be a pre-Christmas ambience with a punch stand and music program. A punch stand and an atmospheric music program provide a special pre-Christmas feeling.

A very special winter highlight awaits you on the Salzkammergut treetop walk on the Grünberg in Gmunden. Hundreds of thousands of soft lights will illuminate the path and amaze you. During this period, the Salzkammergut Treetop Walk is always open and illuminated from Thursday to Sunday, from about 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., last admission is at 7 p.m. During the Christmas holidays, the magic of lights can be experienced every day, with the exception of the Christmas holidays and New Year's Eve. During the opening days of the Magic of Lights, the Grünberg cable car will take you up and down the mountain between 12:30 and 20:30 hrs. For the magic of lights, the regular treetop walk entrance fees apply at no extra charge. Tickets are available online at shop.gruenberg.info or at the ticket office of the Grünberg cable car and at the Salzkammergut treetop walk.
