Early in the morning, you take the cable car up to the Feuerkogel. At the summit, an atmospheric sunrise over Lake Traunsee in the Salzkammergut awaits you—followed by a leisurely mountain breakfast at the Feuerkogelhaus. Fortified, you continue your day: Upper Austria’s sunniest high plateau invites you to enjoy scenic hikes (such as to the Europa Cross), athletic mountain tours, relaxed climbing on the Alberfeldkogel, or simply the chance to unwind and soak up the mountain summer.
