On September 26, 2026, the Salt and Lake Trail will enter the next round. The bikepacking event leads through the impressive landscape of the Salzkammergut - past lakes, over mountains and through small towns that you won't forget in a hurry.
There are two variants to choose from: 480 km with around 8,000 metres of altitude difference or 280 km with around 5,000 metres of altitude. You have up to six days to complete the route – without any pressure and at your own pace.
The special feature: Many start alone, quickly make friends along the way and reach the finish line together. The Salt and Lake Trail stands for community, nature and the good feeling of simply being on the road.
