One city - one weekend - full program in Bad Ischl
The Bad Ischl town festival (Stadtfest) is one of the most popular summer festivals in the Salzkammergut. The entire city centre and the spa gardens are transformed into a large festival mile in one weekend.
From 3 to 5 July 2026, the spa gardens and the city centre of Bad Ischl will once again be transformed into a large festival mile.
After last year's successful comeback, visitors to the Bad Ischl City Festival 2026 can expect a varied programme with music, culinary delights, club life and a festival atmosphere. The highlights include the warm-up party in the Kurpark on Friday, the traditional parade of the Ischl clubs on Saturday and the performance of the Austrian musician Anna Buchegger as the main act on the Kurpark Stage.
In total, numerous stages with live music, dance and show interludes provide entertainment throughout the city centre. The cosy finale on Sunday is the morning pint in the Kurpark.
The city festival is supported by numerous regional partners and once again shows the diversity, hospitality and joie de vivre of the imperial city. Please note that some bus stops are out of service during the town festival in Bad Ischl. The scheduled buses in the direction of Lake Wolfgang, Gosau Valley and Lake Hallstatt (Hallstatt, Obertraun and Bad Goisern) will depart from the bus terminal at Bad Ischl train station during this period.
