The "Lake Hallstatt Swimming Marathon" is a good opportunity to take part in a unique sporting event in a beautiful mountain setting. It offers a sporting challenge for both experienced swimmers and amateur athletes and is an unforgettable experience.
Lake Hallstatt is embedded in the Salzkammergut and offers a breathtaking mountain backdrop with the Dachstein and the Sarstein. There are different distances (2.1 km, 5 km, 7 km and 10 km) to choose from, so both beginners and experienced swimmers will find a suitable route. Swimming in the clear Lake Hallstatt water, surrounded by this impressive nature, makes the marathon a special experience.
The marathon offers the opportunity to compete with other swimmers and to be part of a sporting community. Since 2023, the Bad Goisern water rescue has taken over the organisation, which speaks for a professional implementation according to the Hallstättersee Schwimm Marathon.
The Lake Hallstatt Swimming Marathon is therefore not only a sporting event, but also an opportunity to experience the beauty of the Salzkammergut and be part of an unforgettable event.
