Lake Hallstatt Swimming Marathon 2025 in Bad Goisern
The swimming event of the summer
On July 26, 2025, Lake Hallstatt will be all about the 14th Swimming Marathon - a sporting highlight for all friends of limitless open water swimming.
Numerous starters from Germany and abroad are expected again. The competition will be scored in the three classic distances 2.1 km, 5 km and 10 km as well as the 10 km relay competition, start and finish will again be at the Untersee lido in Bad Goisern, where a party for swimmers and spectators will also be celebrated around the event. The entire event is being organised for the second time by the Bad Goisern Water Rescue, which will once again ensure the necessary safety at the competition. The long distance will be swum as a 2 x 5 km circuit, and what is new is that for the first time the swimmers of the 10 km course will have the opportunity to stop at 5 km and be ranked in this distance. In addition to the rankings in the age groups, there will be a regional ranking as well as a separate ranking for the ÖWRW lifeguard organizations. In addition, a raffle of attractive prizes will take place among all athletes present.

The organisers of the "Lake Hallstatt Swimming Marathon" in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt are also looking forward to numerous registrations from all over the world.
