Matinée at the Lehárvilla in Bad Ischl
You should visit the Lehar Villa in Bad Ischl to learn more about the life and work of the operetta composer Franz Lehár. It is a fully furnished artist's house that preserves its history and flair down to the last detail. In addition, it houses a unique art collection that Lehár and his wife have assembled.
The Bad Ischl City Museums are pleased to offer visitors to the Lehár Villa a very special tour in the coming months. Immerse yourself in the home of the famous operetta composer Franz Lehár and experience an unforgettable musical journey.
On seven selected dates, we invite you to an exclusive matinee tour. After a warm welcome with a glass of sparkling wine, an exciting tour of the villa awaits you. Ralph Petruschka or Tamara Kurtskhalia will present melodies from the great master's most famous operettas on the Steinway grand piano on the first floor and the Stingl grand piano on the second floor.
Ralph Petruschka has been delighting visitors to Bad Ischl for years with his concerts at the Zauner on the Esplanade and in the Trinkhalle. Tamara Kurtskhalia has been a member of the Lehár Festival for over five years and has performed as a pianist at numerous operetta salons in the Trinkhalle and at the Easter operetta concert at the Kongress & TheaterHaus.
