Around 14:00 hrs. the carnival fools, in the centre of the Salzkammergut town, show how colourful and happy the fifth season of the Salzkammergut can be.
Many enthusiastic spectators from all over the world line the streets and turn the market town, in the heart of Austria, into a party mile. On this carnival day, different groups highlight current affairs and drive with imaginative vehicles, or march in great costumes with music and lots of momentum through Bad Ischl.
