No wonder that artists from all over the world come here again and again for a musical rendezvous. This time, visitors can look forward to the YOBC Orchestra from the USA. The focus of this musical afternoon is on works from Mozart to Gershwin. And now more about the musicians....
Youth Orchestra of Bucks County
The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County (YOBC) was founded in 1991 to inspire and promote young musicians for classical music. Over the past 25 years, YOBC has served over 1500 students and provided young musicians in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with unparalleled classical music education for wind, string and symphony music. Each year, nearly 300 students apply to study in YOBC's selected programs, including symphony orchestras, wind ensembles, chamber ensembles, and guest artists, as well as master classes, a concert and exciting performance opportunities. YOBC students perform regularly in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and have made guest appearances in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
We are very pleased that the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County is coming to Hallstatt this year in addition to Vienna to play a lively concert on the market square.
