We are very pleased to inform you about a lively concert in the parish church of St. Nikolaus in Bad Ischl, magnificently interpreted by the Norwalk Youth Symphony under the direction of Jonathan Yates.
The young musicians want to build bridges across national borders and continents - from young to old, from person to person - right into the hearts of the listeners!
In the parish church of St. Nicholas, listen to a lively concert of Austrian classical music with Haydn, Rossini's opera music and Bartók's Romanian Dances with the Norwalk Youth Symphony under Jonathan Yates!
The sonic journey takes you to the world of opera with Rossini's swinging Barber of Seville to the world of folk music with Béla Bartók's fascinating Romanian Dances. The program is rounded off by the solemn sounds and lively dance rhythms of Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 104 - a sonic feast that enchants the audience with its timeless beauty.
