In the winter season 25-26 we are again offering two exclusive ski touring camps: Both camps are aimed at those who have already gone on one or the other tour and all those who have always wanted to try ski touring. Whether you want to take your first steps in this exciting discipline or become a little more confident with the technique - our camps are perfect for it. Best of all, both take place on our popular Atomic Backland track!
For all participants of the ski touring camps, the checkpoint in Russbach, Dachstein West offers an exclusive rental discount of 20% on the complete ski touring equipment. Take advantage of this opportunity to start your adventure in the best possible way!
Please note: Registration possible until the day before at 12 noon! Ski touring camps only take place with a minimum of 5 participants. Max. number of participants: 15 people!

Explanation of different functions of ski touring equipment
Learning energy-saving uphill walking with correct step technique and gliding and pole use
Joint ascent along the ski touring route and correct walking in terrain of varying steepness
Approach to correct walking in the terrain (in deep snow) with learning and improving hairpin bends
Summit arrival with skins off and preparation for the descent with changing of boots and bindings
Joint descent to the valley station
Imparting basic knowledge and training in how to behave on ski tours on the slopes and in the terrain during ascent and descent - Questions and answers
Sufficient skiing skills are absolutely necessary for both camps! (Descent on descent with skis!)

Good to know:
What do you need to have with you? If you don't have any ski touring equipment yourself, you can rent it for the day on site at the Atomic Backland Touring Center for -20% (advance reservation required!).
Functioning ski touring equipment with skis, poles, skins and boots (please check beforehand)
