Three caves for the Salzkammergut
The three caves of the "Dachstein Cave World" in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt are among the most beautiful sights in the Salzkammergut. You simply have to see and experience them. Mystical cave magic worlds enchant in the valley and on the mountain. The two caves located on the mountain offer a unique underground world between spring and autumn for young and old "explorers". The third of the three show caves is located in the valley, in the Koppental: the Koppenbrüller Cave. It is easy to reach on foot. From the main road in about 20 to 30 minutes.
The ice cave and the mammoth cave can best be combined with a visit to the 2000 m high Krippenstein. Here you can expect a breathtaking hiking world, the unique viewing platform "5 fingers" and much more.
In addition to the guided tours through the three caves of the "Dachstein Cave World", there are always interesting events, such as the classical music series "Eisklang" in the ice cave.
