Balloon Week Gosau
All colours in the Salzkammergut sky
Visit the Balloon Week in Gosau to experience the spectacular Night of the Balloons event, where colorful hot air balloons light up the night sky. The week also offers the opportunity for balloon rides over the snow-covered alpine landscape to enjoy the mountain panorama from a bird's eye view, as well as culinary delights and musical entertainment.
The absolute highlight of the week is the Night of the Balloons, where hundreds of balloons light up the night sky and dance to waltz time.
Unique view
Enjoy the breathtaking view of the snow-covered alpine world of the Dachstein massif from the air. The altitude offers incredible impressions of the mountains, especially with the clear view in winter. During the balloon week, the Dachstein Alpentrophy takes place, where the best balloonists in Europe compete for the trophy.
Carpooling
You have the opportunity to take a balloon ride yourself and enjoy the mountain panorama from a bird's eye view. Look forward to musical accompaniment and culinary delights that round off the event. Experience a special winter atmosphere with low temperatures, snow and a special light due to the low position of the sun.
The Balloon Week takes place every year in January. The exact dates vary, but the "Night of the Balloons" takes place on one evening during the week.
