Heimatabend – Traditional evening in Hallstatt

During the traditional evenings, in the centre of Hallstatt, visitors during the summer months get to experience the traditions of the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut from traditional dances to traditional costumes. Two hours of folklore and fun with sensational dances, rustic Schuhplattler and the indigenous sound of alpine music in a uniquely beautiful scenery.

The Hallstatt Trachtenverein d'Hirlatzer, who were founded in 1946, will present various dances on the romantic square in front of the World Heritage museum of Hallstatt. Every year, guests from around the world meet to immerse themselves into the history of Hallstatt. We look forward to you visiting to the summer Heimatabend traditional evenings in Hallstatt in June, July and August.
