Eine gute alte Tradition
Traditionell zur Sonnenwende wird wie jedes Jahr im Gasthaus Rassingmühle neben der Traun in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee ein großes Sonnwendfeuer entzündet. Dabei haben die Sonnwendfeier im Alpenraum schon eine lange Geschichte: Bereits seit dem 12. Jahrhundert sind die Sonnwendfeuer ials Schutz vor bösen Dämonen bekannt. Damals zogen die Buben des Ortes vor Sonnwend singend von Hof zu Hof und bettelten um Holzscheite für das Feuer. Es gibt noch ein paar überlieferte Verse, die die Kinder dazu sangen. Heute wird nicht mehr von Hof zu Hof gegangen und gebettelt, jedoch wird lange vorher schon Holz dafür gesammelt. Auch Sie können wieder heuer live dabei sein, wenn das Sonnwendfeuer bei der Rassingmühle direkt bei der Traun angezündet wird. Eine gute alte Tradition die gefeiert gehört.
