Children's tour with Sally in the Altaussee Salt Mine
Unforgettable afternoon for kids
From 29 June to 8 September 2024, the Altaussee Salt Mine invites you to an adventurous excursion through ancient tunnels into the Styrian Salzkammergut on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Monday afternoons: Come with us on a fun journey underground! Sally, the clever little pit duck will show you her world. Ideal for children from 4 to 10 years old.
Note for international guests
The salt mine, the old salt mine, in Altaussee can be reached by car from Hallstatt, Bad Goisern, Gosau, Obertraun and Bad Ischl in about 25 to 35 minutes. The guided tours with the pit duck Sally are unfortunately only in German. However, language is not decisive in this experience. Sally spreads a lot of fun even without knowledge of German. You'll see!
