Bach on Attersee – The Goldberg Variations
The magnificent church hall of the Attersee Maria Parish Church is the showcase and listening place for an outstanding Bach evening: Mahan Esfahani, the great young harpsichordist, shines with Bach's Goldberg Variations - a highlight of Baroque compositional art and one of Johann Sebastian Bach's key works.
"Bach is a composer you spend your whole life trying to understand and yet never quite grasp. But it is a life very well spent," says musician Mahan Esfahani.
