Solstice bonfire on the Feuerkogel in Ebensee –
A mountain in flames on Lake Traunsee
On Saturday, June 22, 2024, as every year, a large solstice fire will be lit on the Feuerkogel high plateau at 1,600 m above Lake Traunsee. An atmospheric start to summer is celebrated with a traditional solstice fire, regional live music and a great supporting programme for the whole family.
Guided alpine hikes
At 16:00 and 18:00 there will be a guided alpine hike. The starting point is at the Photopoint near the mountain station of the Feuerkogel cable car. Participation is free of charge and no registration is required.
Don't forget!
Some of the mountain inns offer live music and, as always, regional delicacies. There will also be musical accompaniment directly at the solstice fire from 21:15. Continuous cable car operation until 123:00.
