"Dachstein West" in Gosau

The ski region is characterized by the breathtaking view of the Dachstein, which offers an impressive backdrop for the skiing experience. There are varied descents on over 160 kilometres of slopes, including the 44-kilometre-long "Dachstein Tour". The ski area is particularly suitable for families. It offers special children's areas (e.g. the Zwisiland and the Fredyland) and gentle fun slopes. Action fans can let off steam on tracks such as the Marcel Hirscher race track with timekeeping, speed measurement tracks, mogul slopes and snowcross facilities. Almost all slopes can be artificially snowed, which allows for a high level of snow reliability and a long season. In addition to the slopes, there are also cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails and ski touring opportunities.

The special thing about the Mount "Feuerkogel" in Ebensee on "Traunsee" (name of the lake) is its combination of a sunny, well-arranged family ski area with modern lifts and snow-making facilities and a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the Dachstein and the lake region. The area is ideal for families, beginners and returners, but also offers more challenging slopes and an ungroomed ski variant into the valley for experienced skiers.
