In Austria, it is already a cherished tradition to welcome the "New Year" musically. This is not only done by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra worldwide with the traditional New Year's Concert, but also by numerous orchestras and organizers in the Salzkammergut. The salon orchestra of the Landesmusikschule (LMS) of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt also starts the new year in an atmospheric and lively way. The musicians invite you to the New Year's Concert in Gosau again in 2025. Together with the enchanting and versatile soprano Sophie Schneider from Bad Ischl, we will open the new year musically with an entertaining cross-section of Johann Strauss's "Die Fledermaus". In the second part of the concert, the young soloist takes you into the world of the musical and this time clarinetist Manfred Stimez provides lively swing. Enjoy a happy and lively start to the year with us. Tickets for the first concert experience of the year are available at all known advance booking offices.
