Spring concert of the Obertraun local band

Schwunhvoll into spring
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the traditional spring concert of the Obertraun local music band will take place.
It starts at 8 p.m. in the Federal Sports and Leisure Center. The program includes a colorful, musical spring greeting, which the musicians have rehearsed in recent months under the direction of the two bandmasters Michaela Eggenreiter and Josef Pühringer.
The first part is made up of traditional works such as the waltz "Roses from the South" or the contemporary overture "Queen of the Dolomites", which is accompanied by pictures of "King Dachstein".
At the beginning of the second part, the OMK Youth Ensemble will be heard. The rest of the concert evening is mainly dedicated to modern brass music. Highlights include brass band arrangements of James Bond's film music and hits by the Californian pop group Toto. More is not yet revealed.

As part of the spring concert, new musicians will also be introduced and members of the Obertraun orchestra will be honored.
