Sunset drive to 2000 meters in Obertraun

View of the imposing Dachstein massif and down to Lake Hallstatt. It is a unique natural spectacle when the sun bathes the mountains in a deep orange, the fire-yellow ball slowly sets over the black and grey-shaded mountains and the Obertraun brass band lets the day end musically. Magical Momnete that you won't soon forget!
The Obertraun Weisenbläser (a brass band formation from the village of obertraun), who will musically frame the leisurely hike to the World Heritage Spiral on the Krippenstein summit and to the 5fingers, will also be there again. Afterwards, a stop at the mountain restaurant on the Krippenstein is planned, before the Krippenstein cable car takes you back down to the valley in the bright glow of the full moon at around 21:00 hrs!

Would you like to participate in one of the “guided hikes” mentioned above? Here are our tips for the perfect hiking pleasure: Sign up in time. If specified, we recommend registration per e-mail. Please include the title of the hike and the date for the "Guided hike". Should your desired hike take place on the weekend or on a public holiday, we recommend that you send your tour registration 3 to 4 days in advance. In the age of smartphones, you will be quickly informed of possible tour cancellations via e-mail! Of course, you can also register via telephone. For more information about registration and contact persons, see below under "information at a glance". Whatever you choose, we wish you a memorable exploration tour while hiking in Austria!
