Fancy dirndls and lederhosen? Rustic folk music, customs and music from the country in which you are currently spending your vacation? Beyond kitsch and commerce! Then drop by the annual “Almsingen” (Alpine singing) in Bad Ischl. This is where musicians from all over the region meet in traditional attire such as dirndls and lederhosen for a big musical get-together. Many popular singing and playing groups from all over the Alps and especially from the Salzkammergut create a happy and traditional meeting of musicians.

The Ischl farmers' wives will spoil the visitors with culinary delicacies. And the beauty of this musical get-together is that music unites and language barriers disappear. A really cool event for everyone who wants to learn more about the country and its people!
